“A great voice teacher! Brian really listened and I felt heard for the first time. Their teaching was all about forging the practical strategies for my own individual talent, through the complex operation of singing. ”
—Malik Gaines, Professor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts | Co-founder, My Barbarian | Co-Artistic Director of The Industry
“I've never had a better experience in a voice class. Brian's enlightening approach to technique is both physical and intellectual – Their teaching has greatly improved my vocal control, and fortified my confidence and joy in singing. Brian's precision and patience supported my development and advanced my personal and professional relationship with music."
—Alexandro Segade, Professor of Art at Cornell University | Co-founder, My Barbarian | Interdisciplinary Artist
“Brian was an absolute DREAM to work with. Brian knew exactly when, where, and how to push me to achieve the most beautiful, pure tone possible. I was making sounds I was PROUD of ; every session promised new revelations of my potential. I walked away from our time together happier and more fulfilled with my vocal progress than I had in a long time, and that is something I simply cannot put a price on. Thank you, Brian”
—Sarah Kathleen Adams, Soprano
" Brian continuously challenges me to produce my best sound. Our work merged the theory and the physicality of singing viscerally into my body and out into the world. On a basic level , my work with Brian greatly improved my breath control and overall tone. But on a much deeper level, after years of struggle, at last, I sounded like my best self."
—CJ Miller, mezzo-soprano
