Voice Lessons

Brian currently maintains a private studio of voice students ranging from operatic singers to those who simply want to broaden their abilities for karaoke. With over thirteen years experience as a teacher Brian has a great passion for helping others discover and develop their voices, blossoming into their most authentic sound. While their technique is rooted in the bel canto school of singing, Brian has a keen ability to tailor each singers approach to various repertoire in respect to their genres of choice. Brian is currently teaching virtually as well as in-person provided COVID-19 testing.

For me, teaching is not only a great joy. It is also one of the most profound learning experiences for my own singing. When I am teaching, I am also receiving an education. —Brian McQueen

“Brian's teaching has greatly improved my vocal control, and even pleasure in singing, in a really short time. I appreciate Brian's precision and patience, really helping me understand what I am doing with my voice. Brian's enlightening approach to technique is both physical and intellectual – I've never had a better experience in a voice class.” —Alexandro Segade, Assistant Professor of Art, Cornell University | Co-founder, My Barbarian | Artist
